ECRN in the New European Bauhaus Festival

“Europe from another perspective” is the motto for the participation in The New European Bauhaus Festival

The ECRN – a co-operative project funded by the Creative Europe program – has been selected as one of the official side events to take place in Brussels during The New European Bauhaus Festival in Brussels (and a bit across Europe) between 09 and 12 of June.

As part of this festival, the ECRN will present a thematic session dedicated to rooftops where inspiring practices for the use of rooftops will be presented. The session entitled “Europe from another perspective” will take place on June 10 between 14:00 and 17:00 at the Royal Library of Belgium (Albert Brussels Rooftop) in the, Kunstberg 28, Brussels. Admission is free and does not require registration.

The event starts at 14:00 with a panel with the same name as the event “Europe from another perspective”. In this panel the network will show why we believe in the potential of this partially undiscovered layer of urban space. From the generation of new places to meet and the creation of cultural breeding grounds, to innovative living labs exploring sustainability.

The event aims at showcasing inspiring rooftop stories from Antwerp, Faro, Rotterdam, Gothenburg and Amsterdam, collect audience’s ideas and views, and creates a dialogue on how rooftops could possibly change cities around Europe.
